The Latin America AI Film Festival is the first multi-nation initiative dedicated to showcasing and empowering AI-assisted filmmaking in the region. Our mission is to promote creativity, innovation, and digital inclusion by giving filmmakers, youth, and emerging creators the tools, platform, and global visibility they deserve.
AI is transforming the creative world—reducing production costs, expanding access, and giving millions the ability to tell stories previously impossible due to lack of resources. Latin America has enormous creative potential but limited access to funding, training, and exposure. We are changing that.

Our story
Founded by Greick Hernandez, the Latin America AI Film Festival emerged from a simple but ambitious idea: to give every creator in Latin America—regardless of resources—the ability to make films using artificial intelligence. What started as Greick’s passion project quickly grew into a regional movement dedicated to innovation, opportunity, and cultural transformation.
Why we are unique
We Are the First AI Film Festival Focused Entirely on Latin America. While many festivals now accept AI-assisted films, we are the only one built specifically for Latin American creators, cultures, languages, and stories. We center the voices of the Global South.
Unlike traditional festivals, we don’t require expensive cameras, crews, or equipment. Anyone—even with just a cellphone and AI tools—can participate. This becomes transformative for:
